What It Costs

Cost is calculated from three items.

The script

$100, one time.

Performance rights

$195 per performance.

The production fee

This covers:

  • Our actors, in the numbers each show’s page gives
  • A director on site through your performances, who is also your producer or stage manager, and often one of the actors
  • A Production Playbook written for your show
  • Our help from the first board conversation to the wrap report

Stage plays

A guarantee of $2,500 or 20% of ticket sales, whichever is greater. Shows that bring more of our actors carry a higher guarantee. Each show’s page will tell you how many of our actors will be on site.

Interactive dinner shows

A flat fee of $3,500 to $5,500, depending on the show.

Travel

Outside our home range of Nashville, Chattanooga, Huntsville and the towns between them, you cover travel and lodging. We suggest that your organization book and pay for any travel fees directly, as you will almost always have better rates for hotels and travel. If we book it, you will always be told the cost and be able to approve.

When you pay

WhenWhat

What we never take

Our fee comes out of ticket sales and nothing else. We do not take a share of your sponsorships, your donations, your program advertising, your raffle or auction, or your concessions. We do not ask to see that money and we do not want it. Every sponsor you sign is yours.

This matters more than it sounds. Paying anyone a percentage of donated money is something the fundraising profession takes seriously and so do we. We are paid for producing a show, the way your caterer is paid for the meal and your venue is paid for the room. Your donors are yours.

How the money reaches you

Ticket sales go directly into your organization’s account. They never pass through ours. You keep the sponsorships, the ads, the concessions, and any donations. You receive the ticket sales and pay us from them.
